Vision

Our Vision

To end generational poverty in the communities we serve through meeting practical needs and teaching life skills

We believe ending generational poverty will take a multifaceted approach, and one of the ways we purpose to make an impact is through a transitional housing program in Jackson county. Our transitional housing program will serve homeless families with a vision to train, equip and encourage them to become healthy families. Our vision includes a tiny home village and community center where families can be mentored, take classes, learn how to manage their money and other valuable life skills.

It is our plan to have the community center and several homes built with a “1.0” version of our program running by the end of 2022. We would love for you to commit to pray with us through this planning and development phase. Once the program is running we will be looking for volunteers to teach classes, mentor families and individuals, help children with homework, teach life skills like cooking, gardening and sewing, and help maintain the property.

If you are interested in offering your skills for planning and development, we will need help with:

  • Engineering
  • Architectural Design
  • Building homes including framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring contractors
  • Interior Design
  • Grading
  • Landscaping
