There are 8,900 food insecure people living in our community. The 30,000lbs of food we distribute {twice a month} is enough to feed up to 500 families for 10-12 days.

Each month, we hold two mobile food pantry events. Families in need line up early, and volunteers help unload the truck, organize the chaos and load grocery carts full of food for those in need. These events are held monthly in Commerce and Pendergrass, Georgia.

We rely on our financial partners to provide the funding for our mobile food pantry events. In 2019 there will be 24 food truck events, and each truck full of food costs just $800. In addition to the cost of the food, we have about $400 per month in additional expenses related to the events. Will you partner with us in 2019?

Each mobile food pantry event takes a minimum of 40 volunteers to run. In addition to financial partners, we love to connect with those who have a heart to serve and can commit to one or both food trucks each month.

Volunteers are needed to unload the food truck, organize the food, accept paperwork from recipients, talk to those in line, take groceries to vehicles, and to help clean up. No matter your giftedness or age, we’ll find a place for you!
